Dr. Sharad Chandra Tripathi is a physicist and researcher specializing in Solar Physics, Space Weather, Ionospheric Physics, and Space Instrumentation. He earned his Ph.D. from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, and was awarded the Erasmus Mundus INTACT Fellowship by the European Union. He completed post-doctoral research at Frederick University, Cyprus.
His research focuses on ionospheric plasma dynamics, solar flare effects, geomagnetic storms, and space weather phenomena using observational data and computational physics methods. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed research publications and presented scientific work at international conferences.
In addition to research, Dr. Tripathi actively contributes to science communication and science popularization through physics articles, science blogs, and educational resources designed to make complex scientific ideas accessible to students and the general public.
